Baby Steps

Oh Sure the Dolls are Beautiful......

...but it is the people that make IDEX the wonderful experience that it is! As the hours after the show fade to days it is the unimaginable talent of the artists, the passion and excitement of the collectors and the overall joy felt by all for being placed on common ground, that is clear in my mind. It is a place like no other for those who share a love for dolls. I am thankful for old friends and now for new friends and new memories. This collage is of old and new friends and is by no means a complete representation of all those lovely people I am thinking of these days....my regret is that I did not take more pictures.....

IDEX Premeire 2010

Home again after a great trip to IDEX Premiere 2010 in Orlando Florida! The Show was awesome! With doll manufacturers and talented artists from around the world, IDEX is the premiere gathering place for those who love Dolls!!  I have some much I want to write....I don't even know where to begin....I'll start with Pictures!!! and I will continue to post my experiences throughout the week.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY STUDIO PIPSQUEAK!!!

One year ago today I moved into my studio....Studio Pipsqueak!! A sweet little cottage with over an acre of forest around it....what an inspiration.

I started Pipsqueak Creations over 5 years ago.  It was actually two and a half years ago that I decided to rent a studio outside of my home. It was in a beautiful, historic home that had been converted into apartments......it was Lovely.  I'll find some pictures to post one of these days.

The keeper of the Chair...This is Stella. She and her friend Isabella have been there since day one. They watch things when I'm not around. Isabella didn't hold still for pictures today.

I'm Going to IDEX!

I'm heading to Orlando to the IDEX show....not presenting.....not teaching....just going! Oh, and I will be taking lots of pictures to post here, so you had better be on your best behavior! The show is the end of January and I wasn't planning on going, but, turns out, I can't help myself.

I've put it off long enough.......

This may very well be the title to all my posts! In this case.....it refers to the weblog itself. I have wanted to start blogging for awhile now, but the time has come, I can avoid it no longer. I think I was concerned that I would not have interested things to write about....TRUE! Not my problem....you are the one who has to decide if you want to read this .......or not.
